Terms and Conditions

1. The prize is £60,000 of equipment available from participating suppliers and includes necessary design advice, commissioning, installation and training to use equipment and the removal of old equipment. Maximum value of equipment from a single supplier is £5,000. The prize does not include extraction and make up air systems and necessary associated equipment.
2. £60,000 prize value is exclusive of VAT. The winner will have to account for VAT in accordance with VAT regulations. The CEDA member will assist in identifying the value for VAT purposes.
3. Installation of equipment must be in accordance with the CEDA terms and conditions below.
4. Entries must be received using the official online entry form by 21st February 2008
5. Only correct entries will be entered into a prize draw and a winner will be chosen at random.
6. No more than one entry per person
7. No purchase necessary.
8. Entry restricted to UK establishments only
9. The prize will be awarded only to an establishment in the hospitality sector serving a minimum of 25 covers per day. The promoter may ask for such evidence as it reasonably requires to confirm that the winner is a qualifying establishment.
10. The judge's decision is final.
11. The winner will be informed by telephone by 6th March 2008. Details of the winner will be published in Caterer & Hotelkeeper
12. There is no cash alternative to the prize. No credit will be given where the value of equipment chosen is less than the value of the prize. Any equipment chosen in excess of the value of the prize must be purchased separately from the supplier. Any work outside the scope of the prize must be paid for separately by the winner.
13. All equipment must be installed and commissioned by 6th September 2008 on a single site as part of a kitchen refurbishment or new build project. All equipment chosen must be used in the finished installation.
14. The winner will be required to participate in interviews with Caterer and Hotelkeeper and in other publicity
15. The promoter is Reed Business Information Limited.

CEDA Terms and Conditions

1. Equipment from suppliers other than participating suppliers to be included in the installation must be purchased through a CEDA distributor.
2. The winner will make their equipment selection with the assistance and professional advice of a CEDA member
3. Installation of the equipment will be to within 1 metre of existing services. New services, building works and new ventilation, if required, are the responsibility of and must be negotiated separately by the winner.
4. Reasonable access to the site must be provided. Additional costs incurred where access is hindered, will be the responsibility of the winning establishment.
5. Terms of payment of CEDA members are 30 days from commissioning.
